Zainya Zimmerer is the Broker-Owner of Cayo Realty Key West, specializing in luxury homes, waterfront properties, distinctive residences, and investment opportunities throughout Key West and the Lower Florida Keys.
Her approach to real estate is highly personal and hands-on. Zainya takes the time to understand not only what her clients are buying or selling, but what matters most to them. She combines strong local market knowledge, thoughtful strategy, creative marketing, and attentive representation to make the process feel clear, comfortable, and personal.
As a Florida licensed residential contractor, Zainya also brings valuable insight into construction, renovations, property improvements, and long-term potential. This allows her to look beyond the surface of a property and help clients recognize both opportunities and concerns that may not be immediately obvious.

Cayo is the unofficial face of Cayo Realty Key West and takes his role very seriously. His specialties include greeting clients, supervising the office, inspecting snacks, and occasionally interrupting important meetings.
He may not know much about contracts or closings, but he is excellent at making people feel welcome.
The Story Behind the Name
The name Cayo Realty Key West was inspired by both the island we call home and a very special little dog.
In Spanish, cayo refers to a small island or key, which makes it especially fitting for the Florida Keys. Key West itself was historically known by the Spanish name Cayo Hueso, meaning “Bone Key” or “Bone Island.”
And, of course, Cayo is also the name of the little guy who quickly became the heart and personality behind the brand.
It felt like the perfect name: local, meaningful, memorable, and completely Key West.
Cayo Realty Key West was created with a simple idea: real estate should feel personal, local, and straightforward. Built around deep knowledge of Key West, hands-on service, and a genuine connection to the community, Cayo Realty offers a more thoughtful approach to buying and selling in the Keys.
